The Lutheran Church in Liberia says its attention has been drawn to recent indictments against its Bishop Victor Padmore by the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission as Chairman of the Lofa County University Board of Trustees, and several high-ranking officials of the Lofa County University.
According to a release issued in Monrovia on Wednesday, the Lutheran Church in Liberia vowed that Bishop Padmore would submit himself to the judicial process to vindicate himself of allegations contained in the LACC recent indictment.
The LCL also reaffirmed its commitment to accountability, transparency, and the rule of law stressing that it believes in the judicial process of Liberia.
The Lutheran Church in Liberia however called for speedy adjudication of the case to allow Bishop Padmore and all accused persons to go through the legal process, and those found culpable be held accountable.
