Lutheran Church in Liberia Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. G. Victor Padmore is calling on the Liberia Council of Churches to wake up from its slumber and speak out on national issues affecting ordinary citizens and the nation.
Bishop Padmore lamented that the LCC in recent times has been conspicuously silent on ills prevailing in the Liberian society.
The Lutheran Bishop told delegates at the LCC 35th General Assembly on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 that citizens including other residents seriously rely on the Council as a moral voice of society to help address issues confronting the nation and its people.
According to Bishop Pademore, the Liberia Council of Churches has a critical role in addressing the socio-economic and political issues in Liberia.
The Liberia Council of Churches, established in 1982, is the umbrella Organization of churches acting as an ecumenical advocacy Christian organization.
